About Denver Water Heater Service Center

Denver Water Heater Service Center is a specialist plumbing company. We do not do drain cleaning, we do not do repipes, and we do not show up for a water heater call between two furnace jobs. Water heaters are the whole business, and that focus is the reason we can carry brand-specific parts on the truck, quote accurately from a phone description, and tell you honestly when a repair beats a replacement.

We work out of a shop at 1842 S Meadowlark Way in Washington Park, which puts us within a short drive of central and south Denver and a straight run to the rest of the metro.

How we work

Three commitments shape every job:

Diagnose before quoting. A technician who names a price from the driveway is guessing. We test — millivolts on a thermocouple, resistance on an element, draft at the hood, static pressure at a hose bibb — and we show you the readings. When we say a tank is finished, we can point at why.

Repair when repair is right. Replacing a heater is a bigger invoice than fixing one. We would still rather fit the $220 element, because the customer whose eight-year-old tank we saved is the customer who calls us in year twelve and refers their neighbor in between.

Leave it to code. Every replacement we do ends with a correct T&P discharge, a drip leg, dielectric unions, a full-port shutoff, a properly charged expansion tank where the system is closed, and vent connectors pitched correctly. Those are not upsells. They are what the job is.

Licensing, permits and insurance

We are a licensed Colorado plumbing contractor, insured, and we pull permits for every water heater replacement — in the City and County of Denver and in Adams, Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties and the individual municipalities we serve. We meet the inspector so you do not have to take time off work for it.

If a competing quote does not mention a permit, ask why. The permit and inspection exist because a water heater is a pressurized vessel connected to a fuel source, and the failure modes are serious.

We install Rheem, A. O. Smith, Bradford White, State, Navien and Rinnai, and service every major brand sold in Colorado. We register the manufacturer's warranty in your name on the day of installation — a step that is skipped more often than you would think, and one that matters a great deal if a tank fails in year seven.

Our own labor warranty is provided in writing with every installation.
